Support for Your Journey through Life Transitions
About Me
I have a Master of Social Work degree and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker through the Board of Behavioral Sciences in the state of California (LCS 24723). I have been a member of the National Association of Social Workers since 2000.
I have extensive experience supporting adults and older adults with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and mental health issues. My participation on the Orange County Multi-Ethnic Behavioral Health Services Task Force for two years allowed me to collaborate with other mental health providers to offer culturally sensitive and effective service delivery to diverse populations.
I worked at the Alzheimer’s Association, Orange County Chapter as a Care Consultant providing case management services as well as individual and group therapy to individuals with cognitive and memory impairment and their care partners. At the Association, I also facilitated the Interfaith Outreach committee to offer support to clergy, individuals, and organizations with diverse spiritual orientations and religious beliefs.
I have also worked as a hospice social worker providing support and counseling to a diversity of individuals and families as they journeyed through the dying and grief process. While providing care management services to disabled and older adults at the Beach Cities Health District, I creatively addressed each individual client’s myriad of developmental, environmental, and social needs to maintain and enhance well-being and independence.
